Jon founded Shutterstock in 2003 with thousands of his own digital photographs. A serial entrepreneur, he recognized the need for licensable images at an affordable cost and created the first global subscription image marketplace. Since then, Shutterstock has grown into a portfolio of brands serving businesses, marketing agencies and media organizations around the world with all the creative and editorial assets needed. Jon holds an MS in Computer Science from Columbia University and a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from The State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Chief Financial Officer
Steven is the Chief Financial Officer of Shutterstock. Steven is helping drive the strategic vision of the company, while leading the company’s financial and legal functions. Steven has nearly 30 years experience in global financial management, acquisitions and business operations, including as Chief Financial Officer at the Tribune Media Company, a television and digital media company, and Revlon, a worldwide cosmetic and beauty products company. Steven is a Certified Public Accountant and received a B.S. from Lehigh University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York.
Bob oversees the company’s day-to-day operations, ensuring that goals and efforts are aligned with Shutterstock. His two years as Vice President of Sales were the most successful period in Webdam history – the sales team doubled in size and the customer base grew by 200%. Bob is a 20-year veteran of enterprise sales and management, specializing in cloud, media and collaboration technologies. Prior to joining Webdam, Bob served as Vice President of Global Field Operations at Certain Inc., a cloud-based event-management software provider, leading the strategic direction of worldwide sales efforts. Bob also held the Senior Vice President of Sales role for EVault, whom he helped grow to become the most profitable enterprise provider of online network backup, recovery and data protection solutions in the industry. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the State University College of Oswego.
Vice President, Marketing
Mike is responsible for connecting Webdam with our markets, customers and stakeholders. He is a tech-industry marketing veteran specializing in cloud solutions for analytics, collaboration and customer experience. Mike has more than 20 years’ experience as an operational marketing executive – most recently with Market Metrix, where he helped improve monthly inbound leads by 300% and grow the year-over-year sales pipeline by 400%. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cal Poly and studied international business at the University of Copenhagen.
Vice President, Product
Shane leads the product team’s strategic and innovation efforts – the latest advance in a 15-year career of SaaS product management. He has partnered with the majority of the Fortune 100 while working at Onyx Graphics, LexisNexis and Pearson. During his most recent venture with Workfront, Shane helped the company pivot from a generalist offering to a purpose-built solution for marketing groups by entering new analyst categories, forming new strategic business relationships and integrating and then acquiring ProofHQ. As a result, revenue increased by 450%. Shane earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Utah and a Master of Business Administration from Brigham Young University.
Senior Director of Customer Success
Kathy leads the team dedicated to delivering an industry-best experience for the ever-expanding Webdam customer base. She has nearly 15 years of experience as both a leader and strategic advisor in high-touch, customer-centric roles for some of the world’s most recognizable Fortune 100 brands. Most recently, Kathy served as the Senior Director of Customer Success at Certain Inc., a cloud-based event-management software provider. Her strong knowledge of SaaS technologies and background elevating and guiding marketing teams to success makes her a perfect match with the market leader in digital asset management.
Senior Director of Strategic Alliances
Brad is responsible for expanding and carrying out our partner strategy. He has led a successful career in business development and channel management for upwards of 15 years. Most recently, Brad served as Vice President of Business at Certain Inc., a cloud-based event-management software provider, where he successfully built and led the Channel and Alliances Program for three years. Prior to Certain, Brad was Regional Business Development Manager for Vigilant, a suite of security monitoring solutions. He is the bestselling co-author of How Hot Is Your Product?, a guide for saving critical time and money before bringing a product to market. Brad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communication from Colorado State University and completed his Master of Science degree in International Affairs at Golden Gate University.
Director of Professional Services
Mohit makes our services easy to adopt and use. He leads the Professional Services’ technical project management, onboarding and implementation teams – providing customer-centric guidance that ensures success. Mohit has more than 17 years of client-focused experience across three continents. Most recently, Mohit was the Global PM Lead for Professional Services at Ooyala, an industry-leading SaaS video platform, where he helped large broadcasters optimize and automate video programming, video streaming and video syndication to deliver Over-the-Top (OTT) solutions. Prior to Ooyala, Mohit worked at Amdocs and KPMG Consulting. Mohit holds his Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Denver along with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from India.
