by rselvey in Webdam Updates

Webdam continues to exceed expectations and break records in the digital asset management industry! We are very proud to announce that in Q2 of 2012 we have surpassed our revenue goals and doubled our year-over-year sales. In addition, we’ve doubled our headcount here in Silicon Valley, making us an even stronger and more knowledgeable team. Together, Webdam has developed strategic collaborations with partners like Box, a leading content-sharing platform, creating a seamless and streamlined workflow for our customers. With all of this momentum we have this year, we were deemed “an emerging player” by Forrester Research Inc. and our results from Q2 easily confirm that.

“2012 has been a great year. When Webdam first launched nearly eight years ago, enterprise marketing departments remained skeptical about using cloud technology to centralize valuable digital media. Today, they are knocking down our doors and the inevitable trend has brought valuable enterprise marketing initiatives and opportunities to most Fortune 1000 companies.” – Jody Vandergriff, Co-Founder and President of Webdam

In Q2 of 2012, we were very excited to welcome many new customers including Intel, New Balance, Micron, and Lutronic, adding to our continually growing list of large enterprise and Fortune 500 customers. Eric Barth, Director of Photography at Micron Technology adds, “We chose Webdam because it provides the enterprise-level security, reliability and scalability we need to meet our company’s needs around the world. Plus Webdam provides personalized service to help answer our questions and build a successful asset management system.”

Part of our large success can also be attributed to our ability to address our customers’ needs through innovative new features and It’s what helped us achieve a 100% customer retention rate in Q2, a feat most enterprise solution companies only dream of achieving. Seeing the customers’ need for even greater automation tasks and collaboration tasks, our developers enhanced usability by creating more advanced drag and drop functionalities, adding a new lightning-fast uploader with cross-browser functionality, and adding team collaboration capabilities. In Q2, we also further strengthened, a community dedicated solely to our Webdam customers, by adding video training tutorials.

It’s Webdam’s dedication to customer success, innovative thinking, and strategic planning that led us to where we are today at the forefront of cloud-based digital asset management technology. In summary, it’s been a great year for Webdam team members and customers and we look forward to the DAM successful road ahead of us.
