Recap of HOW Design Conference 2013

by Melissa Kelly in Brand Management, Events, Webdam Updates

Webdam had a blast at HOW Design Live 2013! Creative professionals gathered from all around the world to discuss the latest trends in design and technology, hear from influential professionals in the creative community, and network with peers and leaders in the industry. The conference was truly inspiring. Many great presentations were given, including our keynote “The Creative Power of Brands without Boundaries.” Attendees were able to hear from Webdam users about how some of the world’s best brands are able to grow their brand and create memorable experiences.

On the expo floor, we had the pleasure of presenting best-in-breed technology for creative professionals. We were thrilled to share best practices for managing, searching, centralizing, and distributing creative files in the cloud — a need many were eager to hear about. If you didn’t get a chance to see a live Webdam demo at the conference, we’d be happy to setup a free demo to see how your team can work easier and faster in your organization. We were thrilled to have Cari Herod, The Creative Department Manager for brands like Santa Cruz, NorCal, Independent and more talk about their creative strategies and effective team collaboration. The audience was captivated by their company story, and how they’ve evolved into very distinguished brands with a large presence all around the world.  In addition, Ron Selvey, The Director of  Marketing and Creative Strategy at Webdam, was also a featured speaker that provided great insights for how notable brands effectively connect with their audience and develop their brand provide a lasting impression.

The keynote presentation was a hit! We definitely left our audience of close to 500 attendees wanting more. Also memorable was Brutus the Beaver running around the conference entertaining the crowd. We were able to get some great pictures of our Beaver giving out hugs, hi-fives, and just having fun. Check-out our Facebook page for pictures with the Beaver!
